Are you a detail-oriented paralegal who takes pride in tracking a flawless discovery record?
Our elder abuse law firm is seeking a Discovery Paralegal to manage all aspects of the written discovery process from propounding initial discovery through trial preparation. This is a foundational role within our litigation team. The Discovery Paralegal’s careful, organized work ensures that critical evidence is identified and disseminated, laying the groundwork for depositions and other discovery to follow in each case.

- Ensure the defendants’ discovery responses are complete and straightforward.
- Extract potential witnesses, facts, and documents from responses to interrogatories.

- Draft the plaintiffs’ written discovery responses to ensure compliance with applicable statutes.
Qualifications
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent litigation support experience.
- Experience with California written discovery — interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to track multiple discovery deadlines across a portfolio of cases.
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to review and analyze documents for compliance issues and substantive gaps.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook; case management software (e.g., FileVine) experience a plus.
