Liza was a legal assistant at Scott & Associates, P.C., and interned abroad at the Nucleus Legal Advice Centre in London, where she prepared documents, managed communication with litigation teams, and conducted research projects.

Aya Harel joins us from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where she serves as Executive Editor of the Berkeley Journal of Gender, Law & Justice. Aya has also interned and volunteered with organizations like the Coalition of Concerned Legal Professionals and the East Bay Community Law Center Health & Welfare Clinic, where she assisted attorneys, conducted legal research, and wrote briefs.

Clay Saffran-Johnson is a student at the University of California, Davis School of Law, where he serves as Senior Articles Editor for the UC Davis Law Review. We’re excited to have Lauren, Liza, Aya, and Clay on board and look forward to the insights and energy they will bring to the team this summer.
